    Sherrie

To know Sherrie Anderson is to know the power of a life lived at the foot of the Cross. Although she attended church as a child, she had not been exposed to the awesome grace that flows from a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and so Sherrie looked for love and approval in many earthly places. When she encountered her Savior at age 22, passion to pursue the Word of God replaced the emptiness she had known.

During this season of her life, a longing grew to help other women delve into the riches of the Living Word so they could apply the Bible’s truths to their lives – to know without a doubt they were “daughters of the King.” Sherrie earnestly pursued Bible study and under the mentorship of her pastor, obtained her license as a minister while she facilitated Bible studies and women’s events at her church, writing and teaching weekly lessons. With the blessings of James, her husband of 25 years and father of their eight children, Sherrie founded byGrace Ministries to unlock Scripture for women in a way that overcomes all denominational, generational and racial barriers by focusing on the redemptive work of Jesus in the lives of all women. Besides speaking engagements, Sherrie is writing a Bible study for women which she hopes to publish soon.

Her byGrace Ministries events, including three annual byGrace Ministries conferences with nationally known speakers, continue to attract large audiences. She has been a speaker at women’s retreats, faith based conferences, and continually brings inspiration to Mothers of Preschooler (MOPS) groups. Sherrie is always eager to partner with churches organizations, large or small, to present the Word of God to women so they may live free and whole as daughters of the King.

Sherrie and James have been married 25 years and have 9 beautiful children and reside near Charlotte North Carolina.

  • What People Are Saying

Here are a few things others have to say about Sherrie

“Sherrie Anderson is an anointed and amazing minister! Her extensive knowledge and sound application of the Word of God enable her to share with women of diverse backgrounds, in the USA and internationally. The depth of her relationship with God is evident in the love that she shows for people with whom she comes in contact, and in the revelation of biblical truths that she shares. Sherrie used her life experiences – both the challenges and the triumphs – to touch the women to whom she ministered at our
women’s conference. She is a sista-girl and a friend. We love her because of her genuine love and commitment to share the word of Grace to all.”

    Pastor Jeanette Vaughn

Sherrie Anderson's ministry brings a message grounded in Word and rich in encouragement. She presents the profound, seasoned with humor, and displays the heart of God in hearer-friendly fashion. We have been personal witnesses of her life and deeply appreciate the integrity with which she's followed her call.

Bernard Evans (President Emeritus of Elim Fellowship) and Sharon Evans

“Sherrie has spoken in my church and had a fabulous impact on the whole church not just the women. She has also taught classes that have deeply impacted the women of our church. Her no nonsense style and bold challenge to whole hearted commitment changes the people she speaks to. She lives her Christian life and has gained a deep understanding of how people can be freed from bondages by developing team ministries that walk people out of their bondage over a year long program. I highly recommend her.”

    Pastor Mike Cavanaugh

    Founding Pastor Elim Gospel Church

    Vice-President Elim Fellowship

“Sherrie Anderson has the true heart of a teacher and servant leader.  Her motivation is to see women walking in the truth of the Gospel.  I believe that through Sherrie's testimony, the Lord can bring many women to a place of gentle submission to and agreement with His Word, a place where they are teachable, a place where hearts are healed by our Risen Lord Jesus Christ.  Personally, this process has already been started in me as I've watched Sherrie’s example and I thank the Lord that He put Sherrie in my path!”

    Dina Gmeinweiser

“Sherrie Anderson is a woman of the Word and a woman of God. The Lord has given Sherrie an ability to speak challenging, timely and relevant words. I have personally watched her minister effectively to each generation and gender. My prayer is that the message she has been entrusted with will not just be in your face but will get into your heart“

    Joshua Finley
    Lead Pastor Elim Gospel Church

"There is an obvious passion coupled with an anointing within Sherrie to minister to women and preach the word.  God has called her for such a time as this to restore the broken hearted with the truth of God’s word."
    Pastor Seth Goodson
